WELCOME TO OUR MOTORHOMING BLOGG
This is an attempt to get our motorhoming hobby on the net for others to look at .
We are Paul and Nikki with our Kids George and Harley. (12&10) and a big newfoundland dog called Tara (taz)
We have been motorhoming since 2004 and preveiously had a caravan. we are now on our second van having owned a CI Carrioca 5 (656) for 3 years.
Our Current van is a Adria Coral 670 sk. Absoloute luxury as far as we are concerned.
we have visited to name but a few Holland ,Belgium ,Germany ,Luxembourg ,Switzerland and Andorra. There have of course been numerous trips around England and Wales. Our favourite trips inthe UK tend to be up to Escosse, around the locks and the west coast. Most of our summers hav been spent touring in the motorhome capital of the world, France.
Our hobbies are having fun, skiing, surfing, canoeing, walking, cycling and anything else you care to mention that's fun and preferably dangerous.
Inside my bloggs you will find information on modifications we have made including, SOG system, Swivel seat, New onminster rooflights, alloy wheels, engine remap, Private plate, air suspesnion, painted bumper, and new 7 in 1 tv
There are entires from our Skiing trips, how we got in to motorhoming, an article I had published in MMM and various other bits and bobs. If you click older posts it will take you back through my entries.
Im always happy to answer any questions that people have and often get emails asking things so feel free, if I can help I will.

First night away.
Since buying the van I have tried to make a few ajustments to get what we wanted back. So therefore I have installed a new SOG. This only just fitted due to the location of the bike rack. I have installed the gaslow and given it a good test.
But anyhow back to our first night away. Still no pics Im afraid they might have to wait until our next trip to Scotland for a week.
Our first night was to Burs country park in Bury. It's a caravan club site sittuated Near to Bury town center. A very nice site by all accounts but the purpose of this visit was merely to test out the van and get some skiing practice done at rossendale dry ski slope. The van worked perfectly. The 2.8 engine drives so much better, and driving has become more pleasurable.
After eventually sort of working out the Satellitte system I managed to get a few nice german channels. One of which was football so I had something to watch. The two lads sat up the other end of the bed and locked themselves in to watch a few DVDs. The new van has so much more space. There is ample room for all four of us to do our thing. We do not feel as pressured as we did in Nessie1.
It's early yet, but we are convinced we have made the right choice. I just hope we can all fall in love with our van as we did Nessie. I am looking for a new TV and an alarm is being fitted next week and then a good service and we are up and runnning.
Next trip is to scotland if theres any snow.

SOLD SOLD SOLD NESSIE IS SOLD
boo hoo.
yep after 3 years and some 21k miles, numerous extras, Nessie has been sold.
she has gone to a good home I hope. A nice single man whom wanted to give motorhoming a try. I'm sure he will look after her. Its quite amazing how you gte attached to your vans.
Anyhow, I digress. we sold Nessie for a reason, that reason was to purchase a bigger, newer and different motorhome. ANd we have done.....
We managed to strike a wintertime recession busting bargain on a van that we have been eying up for ages.
The Van is an Adria 670sk. A loverly van and I will post some pics up as soon as Ic an get some taken. The van is a 2005 model so still on teh old chasis, but after thinking about it we thought with all the new problems it was not a bad idea.
The difference is phenomenal. Firstly the cab is a 2.8, loads more power, there is of course central locking, electric mirrors and what I like most, proper captain seats by adria themselves. The inside has rear bunks on the side and opposite that is a single dinner making in to another bed. There is a rear bathroom a side seat and of course a dinner which is made up by swiveling the captain seats. Three is just so much more space its untrue.
It also came with roof mounted aircon/heater, a satelitte system, a tv, and some wind breaks!!! wow wind breaks, that you will see on ebay as soon as it is light enough out there. There is also a full awning which will be going on ebay as well.
so thus far I have added a gaslow bottle for our next skiing trip in February, A sog I am taking delivery of tomorrow, to add plus we have spent ages gettingour personal stuff in to it.
Cant wait to use it where we will be off to A CC site at bury on Saturday for oine night to try it out and try out the dry ski slope at rossendale.
so pics to follow.
